Lessons from paint

From a painter’s perspective, this house is a mess. Peeling and cracking, drips and splatters, the previous painter didn’t care how the paint was put on. Overspray showered the brick, white marks abundant on all the edges. But you know what? Someone loved this house. Built in the 50’s this house has a history…if walls could talk I’m sure you would get an earful. People are like this house. At first perception you might see mess, old, run-down but dig a little deeper, see their perspective. Perhaps a past has splattered and over sprayed their lives. Love covers a multitude of sins, and Someone loves each individual, unique person. So be an imitator of Christ…love.
